Location: Milepost 866 on the Alaska Highway at the junctions of Alaska Hwy 1 and Hwy 7 to Atlin, BC and Hwy 8 to Carcross.
Overlooking Jake’s Corner, White Mountain is a good place to stop to look for mountain goats on the limestone cliffs and golden eagles overhead or to take a day-hike for a closer look.
