Westport/Grayland/North Cove/Tokeland

Several small communities dot the 18-mile stretch of sweeping, sandy beach and wooded hillside comprising the “Cranberry Coast,” so named for the abundantly productive bogs first maintained by Finnish farmers 150 years ago. The Historic Grayland Community Hall was built by Finns in the 1930s and is still used for the annual Cranberry Harvest Festival, Driftwood Show/Glass Float Round-up and many other community events.
Visitors can enjoy music, art, seafood and kite festivals, chartered fishing for salmon, tuna and halibut, grey whale-watching tours, clam digging and participating in “Pirate Daze.”
The area offers many locally owned roadside businesses, including cafes and small groceries, gift and antique shops, motels, beachfront cabins and camping/RV parks. There are two state parks in the area; Grayland State Park has several campsites near the beach.
