Location: Hwy 200; 8 miles south of Hope, 4 miles from Lake Pend Orielle, 76 miles from Coeur d’Alene, 104 miles from Spokane.
Clarkfork is at the headwaters of the Columbia River, home to plentiful Kokanee Salmon, trout and bass, surrounded by timbered ranges and abounding with deer, elk, ducks, geese and grouse. While in the Clarkfork area, go hiking or backpacking, pick wild huckleberries, apples and pears. Cruise the river and Lake Pend Orielle or visit Cabinet Gorge Dam four miles to the east.
